Fire hits Malabon shanties Oct 21st 2013, 02:44 MANILA, Philippines—Fire gutted a shanty community in Malabon early Monday, the city fire office said.   Malabon City-Bureau of Fire Protection said fire blazed through still undetermined number of make-shift houses in Barangay (village) Tenejeros in Malabon City at 9:16 a.m.   The fire was placed under fifth alarm at 10:05 a.m.   No immediate information on injuries and fatalities has reached the authorities as of posting time.  ...
