European Chess Club Cup 2014 in Bilbao Oct 3rd 2013, 23:39, by Chess Daily News Bilbao will host the 2014 European Chess Club Cup, the ECU decided at its annual meeting in Galicia. The experience of the local chess organizers, who are successfully staging the Grand Slam Final Masters, as well as the quality of touristic and cultural facilities in Bilbao, were the key factors behind the ECU award. The bid was submitted by the chess club Bilbao E4, with the support from City of Bilbao. This year's European Club Cup is starting soon on Rhodes, Greece.
