Close to 3,000 passengers stranded in various ports–PCG

MANILA, Philippines—There are already 2,995 stranded passengers due to Typhoon Yolanda, according to the Philippine Coast Guard. As of 9 a.m., aside from the 2995 stranded passengers, there are already 231 stalled vessels and 63 motor bancas. On the other hand, the following airport closed operations today according to Civil Aviations Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Operations and Rescue Coordination Center; Kalibo Airport Roxas Airport Tacloban Airport Surigao Airport Caticlan (Boracay) Airport Iloilo Airport Meanwhile, Legazpi Airport Tower operations have also suspended operations...
