NDRRMC: Bohol quake toll at 99, 2M affected

MANILA, Philippines — At least 99 persons were killed from the powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Central Visayas that was described to have the same force as 32 Hiroshima bombs, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said on Wednesday.   NDRRMC Executive Director Eduardo del Rosario told INQUIRER.net that based on official records, 90 were killed in Bohol, eight in Cebu and one in Siquijor.   A separate report from  the Bohol Provincial Police Office said that 97 people were killed in the province, 173 injured and seven missing.   About two million persons were affected, mostly from Cebu and Bohol.
